The policy of our team is to follow these procedures:
You can be assured that your health information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Disclosure will not be made to any person not involved in your treatment or the administration of our practices without your prior consent.
If you have any queries or concerns about the handling of your health information, please do not hesitate to raise these concerns with our team.
An initial consultation fee will be charged. At this appointment, all treatment options and costings will be discussed with you. Treatment may be carried out on the day or scheduled on another day depending on the specifics of your case.
Our team wants to provide the highest care to all of our patients. To do this, we want to ensure that patients are seen as soon as possible so we want to minimise last-minute cancellations. All payments must be made prior to the day of surgery for procedures being carried out under General Anaesthetic and IV sedation including the associated fees of the surgeon, anaesthetist/sedationist and hospital. A deposit may be taken for procedures under local anaesthetic especially if special materials or equipment is to be ordered in for your case.
You may be eligible for some monies back from Medicare or your Private Health Fund (depending on your cover) – please check this if appropriate. Item numbers will be provided for you.
